The BARTEC iWAPXN3 is a lightweight Zone 2 and Zone 22 wireless enclosure system designed for the safe deployment of wireless technologies in hazardous and potentially explosive environments. Certified for ATEX and IECEx Zone 2 and 22, as well as Class I and II Division 2 and Zone 2 applications in North America, the iWAPXN3 provides a flexible platform for industrial wireless communications in hazardous areas.

Designed specifically for wireless applications, the iWAPXN3 allows operators to install wireless equipment from virtually any vendor, including industrial Wi-Fi access points, LTE/4G/5G routers, UHF RFID readers and IoT gateways supporting technologies such as LoRa/LoRaWAN, WirelessHART and ISA100.

BARTEC’s proprietary iSOLATE technology provides intrinsically safe RF outputs through standard N-type connectors, allowing standard antennas to be used in the hazardous area without requiring specialised RF equipment.

Available in four standard enclosure sizes, with custom sizes available on request, the iWAPXN3 combines a compact, lightweight design with flexible wireless integration. This makes it suitable for wireless connectivity applications across oil and gas, LNG, mining, petrochemical, chemical processing and other hazardous industrial environments.
